Simon Champion · Brighton

Thirty years building training. Now I help small businesses get three hours a week back with AI.

This is the work behind it: automated systems, reusable Claude Skills and complete training programmes, built for real small-business problems and used in my own business every day.

Real problems, built with Claude

Each project follows the same shape: the problem, what I built, and what it changed.

01 · Automation

A prospecting system that runs itself every morning

The problem
Finding local businesses by hand took hours, and a cold list risks bounces, duplicates and breaking UK email rules.
What I built
A scheduled Claude task that works through a queue of towns and business types, verifies real published emails, removes duplicates, holds back likely sole traders for PECR, honours a do-not-contact list and hands me a mail-merge-ready file.
The result
91 businesses across five towns in the first run, 51 with verified emails, with nearly 100 more town and sector combinations queued. [Add reply rate]

02 · Claude Skills

The Get Your Time Back skill pack

The problem
Readers learn a technique in the manual, then forget the exact prompt the next time a customer email lands.
What I built
Four installable Claude Skills — Sales, Customer Service, Marketing and Admin — each covering several scenarios, with shared guardrails: never invent a price or promise, and always finish with a check before sending.
The result
Ten lessons turned into tools a business owner installs once and uses daily. Tested against realistic scenarios before release.

03 · Content systems

One idea in, a week of content out

The problem
Blogs, LinkedIn posts and videos all compete with client work, so they get dropped first.
What I built
A content-pack skill that turns one lesson or client story into a blog post, LinkedIn post, short and long video scripts and to-camera shorts — plus a script-writing skill that produces client-branded demo video scripts in my voice for a corporate client.
The result
Consistent, on-brand output from a single source, in place of starting from a blank page each time. [Add time saved per piece]
[Before / after: one lesson becoming five pieces]
04 · Training design

A full-day AI programme for complete beginners

The problem
Most AI training is either too technical or too vague for a small-business owner to use on Monday morning.
What I built
A two-hour fundamentals morning and a ten-lesson scenario afternoon, each lesson following situation, live demo, check and practice task — with facilitator outlines for in-person and virtual delivery, plus a pre-event setup guide.
The result
A programme that runs as a full day, a trimmed half day or a virtual series. [Add first delivery and attendee quote]

05 · Video

Demo scripts built to be cut five ways

The problem
Recording a separate video for every platform is slow, and generic AI demos don’t feel like a real business.
What I built
Scripts run on four realistic businesses — a florist, an accountant, a garage and a B&B — each in six beats with marked cut points for Shorts, LinkedIn, long-form YouTube and a written lesson.
The result
One recording session produces five pieces of content per lesson. [Add views or channel growth]

How I work

Claude drafts. You decide.

Every workflow ends with a quick check of names, numbers, promises and tone before anything goes out.

No invented facts

Prices, dates and guarantees only come from you. Anything missing becomes a clear placeholder, never a guess.

Build once, reuse forever

Good prompts become saved Skills and scheduled tasks, so the time saved keeps compounding.
